With Celestron behind them, Styrka has every opportunity to do well. I have not tested their binoculars and spotters, but I suspect they are very well worked out since Celestron has been marketing those forever and a day. My interest was with riflescopes and their, Styrka has some work to do.

#1. Just a heads up since this will impact current and prospective owners of Styrka optics. A birding acquaintance informed me that he tried to get his binoculars serviced under warranty and was informed that Styrka has closed their doors and is no longer servicing warranties. Due to unprecedented business challenges, we were forced to close our doors at Styrka in late 2020. Unfortunately, since we have completely gone out of business, neither Styrka nor any other company is able to support product and warranty claims moving forward. We thank you for your support of our brand during the years we were able to serve you.

In business I had to inspect claims and I had the final say in whether we agreed the claim or not. No customer of ours ever went to a lawyer. However, locally the council increased the parking permit 2.5 times. They don’t make the association public, but the century of experience with optics they reference is that of parent company Celestron, who launched the Styrka brand in 2014. It’s tough to argue with Celestron’s depth and breadth of optics knowledge, so why they’re quiet about the lineage we couldn’t really say. I came across this company at my local gun dealer and decided to buy one so I could give my honest opinion.

At any rate, there are dozens of U.S, vendors who are well-stocked with FLIR optics. So, if you have come across this on the Internet, just take it with a grain of salt until anything official is announced from FLIR (who stands to go out of business, if they actually do curtail civilian sales).
